The Hopkins Symphony Orchestra will collaborate with the Composition Seminar at Morgan State University for a new music reading session and composition class. Jordan will read compositions by emerging composers with the musicians of the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra. Jed Gaylin, Nicoleen Willson, and James Lee III will join to offer feedback to the composers on their work and answer questions from the students.

This special event will provide young composers with the important educational opportunity to hear their works played by live musicians, and will offer HSO musicians the opportunity to play and hear brand-new music while providing young composers with this special resource.
